We are residents of the Central Valley of California.  Mark is originally from the midwest and Carol is a native of the Central Valley but each have roots in Northwest Arkansas. Mark lived just over the state line in Kimberling City, Missouri  in his youth with jobs at a marina on Table Rock Lake and at Silver Dollar City.  Carol's family, both sides, originated from this area. Two of her grandparents were honor students at School (now College) of the Ozarks and all four of her grandparents lived, worked, married and had their families in the area. Carol spent many vacations at her great granny's home in Newton County where she still has numerous extended family. Mark is a Navy Veteran and Carol embraces all things whimsical. In 2022, we decided it was time to stake our claim back in the Ozarks; a place where we could enjoy the area we both love so much and host our children, grandchildren and extended families. As has been our experience, we stumbled across Haysy Hollow.
